of Corner Brook, the Blomidon Golf Course offers a relaxing scenic

in the forest along the Humber River.
Fishing
If you love fishing, then Western Newfoundland becomes heaven
on water. Home to several class A salmon rivers, you are bound
to land your trophy fish. At Big Falls you can view the mighty
Atlantic Salmon jumping as they make their way upstream.
The Humber River is truly an salmon anglers paradise, but salmon
is not the only catch in Western Newfoundland, trout are also bountiful in the numerous lakes and ponds within this region.
Gros Morne National Park

Vikings
L'Anse Aux Meadows ... Another UNESCO World Heritage site
at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula in Western Newfoundland.
Providing proof that the Vikings were the first European visitors
to North America, Lance Aux Meadows is a fascinating visit back in time. Parks Canada has reconstructed life as it was 1000 years ago complete with Viking characters. A visitor's centre filled with artifacts and stories completes your visit back in time.
Gros Morne Theatre Festival
The Gros Morne Theatre Festival has been named in the American Bus Association's Top 100 things to see in 2005. This festival has a long tradition of offering the best in stage productions from comedy to drama. Marble Mountain
At Marble Mountain ski down 35 slopes of natural snow offering
some of the best alpine skiing this side of the Rockie Mountains.

CAT Skiing
